
Frank BöhnkeGeneral Partner, Wellington Partners
Frank Böhnke joined Wellington Partners as a General Partner in January 1998. Since then, he has been responsible for several successful exits, including ACG (IPO at Neuer Markt), alando.de (sold to eBay Inc.), webmiles (sold to Bertelsmann), Cobion (sold to Internet Security Systems Inc.) and SAF (IPO at the Prime Standard). Frank's investment activities focus on the fields of Security, Software and Services. He currently holds seats on the supervisory boards of Astaro, Safe ID Solutions, Swyx and Wazap!.
Prior to joining Wellington Partners, Frank spent eight years in technology investment banking at J.P. Morgan in New York, London and Frankfurt. He advised customers such as IBM, Bertelsmann and Siemens on numerous M&A mandates and accompanied the NASDAQ listings of technology companies like EIDOS, Iomega and Dassault Systems.
Frank holds degrees in Business Administration from the University of Essen and the University of Toronto (1989)
